YOU HAVE AN INHERITANCE
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” Ephesians 1:11
Every believer has obtained an Inheritance. He’s not just a religious enthusiast waiting for the rapture! As basic as this may seem, it is very foundational to the success of everything we do in the kingdom.
A royal in need thinks very differently about his need from a peasant in need.
A peasant considers his need as a make-or-break issue in his life. The royal thinks otherwise. His sense of supply and heritage gives him a different perspective of his need.
He actually considers his need as an opportunity to manifest the abundance of his Kingdom.
I’ve said several times that this mentality or consciousness is what determines how effective our faith walk is.
Faith works with a consciousness of ownership. Faith doesn’t deliver ownership. It delivers possession.
You cannot get by faith what you don’t already own in Christ.
When we got saved, we were engrafted into the richest lineage this world has ever known. The believer is born royal.
This is what the Apostle Peter was referring to when he said in 1 Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
We are Royalty! You are Royalty!
You know that’s why Jesus is called the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Many think that’s speaking of earthly rulers and monarchs. Well, they are right because we live here on earth but they are wrong because they think it’s referring to their political rulers.
No! It’s referring to us. We are the small letter kings and lords.
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
He’s made us kings. This is who you are now not in the sweet by and by. It’s a present-tense reality.
Today and always, I manifest the abundance of Your Kingdom, which I am now a part of, not only as a member but as a king and a priest. I am conscious of my inheritance in the Kingdom of my Heavenly Father. I am Royalty. I cannot lack either can I beg because it is not consistent with who I am and what I have. I walk in the fullness of this reality daily, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
