IN YOUR NEED, FIND A SEED
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11
One of the most foundation and most powerful thought that God ever showed me is that everything in life is governed by the law of seed time and harvest.
It’s a law! That means it’s unchangeable and always works without sentiments to anyone. Irrespective of the age, the colour, the race or the social class it always works.
The Lord taught me long ago to see everything in my life as a seed or a harvest. Irrespective of how you feel about it all, you are reaping the harvest of seeds sown yesterday.
In fact, weeds don’t have to be consciously sown. Just don’t sow and you will reap weeds. So if you want a definite harvest you have to find the requisite seed and sow it.
Every need in your life is a pointer to a seed that has to be sown.
When you see a need, think seed! You literally can determine the kind of life you want to live. You don’t have to leave it to chance.
Needs are symptoms. They aren’t diseases. Lack, sickness and failure are simply symptoms. Symptoms point you to the deeper and bigger issue. The bigger issue is that you haven’t sown the right seeds in the right proportions hence the need in your life.
The Bible is simply a bag of seeds. Some are more developed in one area than the others. For example, there are those who never get sick. They have developed their faith for healing so well that sickness is far away from them. Even when they are challenged with sickness they immediately know what to do but they may suffer lack and want. That’s because seeds are specific. You have to sow maize seed to reap maize. You don’t reap oranges from maize seed.
No farmer cries that he doesn’t have oranges or vegetables. He knows that all he has to do is find the seed, prepare the ground and sow the seed!
Your task is to find the seed in Gods Word that will yield the harvest that you desire.
If you need healing, you have to find healing seeds. If you need provision, you have to search and find provision seeds.
Solomon put it this way in Proverbs 4:20-22, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
Note what he says. He says they are life to those that find them. So not everyone finds them.
To find a thing connotes much effort, intent and search.
What do you desire today? Search till you find! The seed is the Word.
Thank you Lord for giving to me the seed which is your word, So I declare that my eyes are open to see clearly seeds as I search the scriptures to the end that I have a wholesome life balance as defined by your word.
