I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
I believe in miracles because I believe in God! It’s impossible to talk about Christianity without talking about miracles. It’s impossible to be a Christian without believing in miracles.
Oral Roberts once said that if you tried to cut off all miracles from the pages of the Bible then you’d have no book left.
The Bible opens up with the miraculous creation of this world.
The New Birth in and of itself is a miracle. No man can become a Christian without experiencing the greatest miracle of all time- the miracle of salvation.
Jesus is described as the Word of God made flesh. He came as the will of God made flesh and one thing He did everywhere He went was to demonstrate the supernatural. He worked miracles everywhere He went. His life was a purely supernatural one.
He lived and demonstrated the supernatural so much that his closest associates once exclaimed “But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!” (Matt 8:27)
Christianity is actually simply bearing witness to the resurrected Christ. The claims of Christianity is that Jesus died and rose again. And we believe that the very things He did while He walked the face of the earth here, He will do again in and through those who now believe in Him.
Christianity claims that this resurrected living Christ now indwells the individual Christian and lives His life out through them.
Modernism and Humanism reject miracles because miracles defeat logic. If it isn’t scientific and provable, they don’t want to believe in it. How unfortunate!
The Psalmist said, “You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.” (Psalms 77:14 NIV)
Do you need a miracle today? The compassionate Jesus is still alive. The miraculous Jesus is still alive and you can receive a miracle from Him.
All He requires is that you look away from your pain and ailments and look to Him.
Remember that , “Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” (Isa 53:4)
He bore our griefs and carried your sorrows. The direct rendition indicates that he carried our griefs and sorrows removing them far away from us that we can’t have them again.
Look to Jesus. Look away from your grief. You don’t have them again. He bore them!
Look to Jesus. Look away from your sorrows. You don’t have them again. He carried them!
Now is your hour of miracle! I declare that the pains are gone from you. I command a change in your situation. I declare that your hearts desires are manifested now!
Declare loud now, “I receive my miracle now in Jesus Name!”
I believe in miracles. I declare that the miraculous is Natural to me. I live, demonstrate, and experience the supernatural life everyday i live on this earth. Mighty miracles are wrought in me and through me. I have my miracle now, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
